Ronald Sit is a vice president of research and investment management and shares management responsibilities for Sit Investment Associates’ large cap growth and balanced investment portfolios for custom separately-managed accounts, private investment funds, and mutual funds. He provides fundamental research on companies in the consumer non-durable, commercial services, and retail sectors.
Ron joined Sit Investment Associates in 1984. His prior work experience includes work for the treasurer and controller of Gelco Corporation and as a research assistant with Piper Jaffray.
Ron earned an M.M. degree from the Northwestern University’s J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where he focused in the areas of finance, managerial economics, and managerial accounting. He earned a B.A. degree from Northwestern University in 1981. Ron is a CFA charter holder.
Ron serves on the boards of the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Private School Young Life, and the President’s Cabinet of the Northern Star Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
